Dear DME Families,
Welcome to DME for the 2017-2018 school year. My name is Stacy Germany and I am thrilled to become a part of DME as the school principal. My husband, Curtis, and I have three children. Emma graduated from MHS and will return to Texas State as a sophomore this Fall. Jack is a senior at MHHS and Hank is in eighth grade at WGMS. I have worked in MISD as teacher and an administrator for the past 15 years. It is a privilege to work for a district that puts children first in making decisions to inspire excellence. It is an honor to carry on the great foundations that have been laid at DME and to continue to move DME forward as we develop 21st Century learners. I look forward to getting to know your children, their interests, their personalities, and their learning styles. I am also looking forward to the work we will do together to promote a healthy, happy, and safe culture and climate at DME where our students will thrive. We want to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful and responsible. I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family.
