Andra has been in education for the past 30 years, spending the past 24 of those years with MISD. When she started at MISD, Andra was an English teacher. Since then, she has worked as a counselor, spending the past three years at Heritage. Andra studied professional school counseling at Texas A & M-Commerce. She is married to Chuck Chapman and has two children, four grandsons, and a new grand-baby on the way! Her daughter, Ally is a school counselor at Walnut Grove Middle School. Andra is also the new lead secondary counselor for all of MISD! Congrats, Andra!
Tiffany received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dallas Baptist University in December of 2001, and her Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas in December of 2007. She taught special education in Red Oak ISD, and then worked as a school counselor in Duncanville ISD for several years. Additionally, over the last year she has been working for Covenant Kids Behavioral Health as a behavior skills trainer for children and foster parents at risk for placement disruption in the Ellis County and South Dallas County areas. Tiffany's husband Billy has also joined the MISD family this year. We have been married for thirteen years and have known each other for over twenty years.
For the past two years, Lexi has been an English teacher and Head Tennis Coach at Heritage High School. Meanwhile, she has also been working on her Master's Degree in School Counseling at Dallas Baptist University and had been looking forward to potentially joining the Heritage counseling team. This year, Lexi will make that transition as she serves as Academic Advisor to the incoming Freshman class and continues to coach. She is ecstatic to step into this new role.
Lexi is originally from Minnesota. She moved to Texas to study Business Management at Dallas Baptist University, where she also played on the two-time NCCAA National Champion Women's Tennis team. After earning her teaching certification, Lexi taught English at Burleson High School and was an assistant coach for the tennis team, then she got hired in Midlothian the following year.
Lexi is married to Blake Webster, a Midlothian native. She and Blake have two dogs, Owen and Wilson, and love to go to the lake or visit Lexi's family in Minnesota any chance they get.
Amanda Thomas is beginning a new career with Heritage after thirteen years of working as a litigation paralegal. She attended Mansfield High School and now lives in Midlothian. This will be the second year her son and daughter have attended MISD. Most evenings and weekends you can find her at the softball fields; Kylie, age 10, plays Rec and Select softball year round.
