Dr. Hemmle Named Student Services Administrator
Midlothian, TX, January 24, 2017 - Midlothian Independent School District announced today that Al Hemmle, Ed.D., has been named Student Services Administrator for MISD. This position will provide support in the management of student welfare, including attendance boundaries, student attendance and truancy enforcement, student discipline, transportation, bully prevention, discipline appeals, student grievances and school safety. Dr. Hemmle will assume this role in the spring and brings with him more than twenty-seven years of experience in education.
“The primary goal with this position is to ensure that key support services operate in a consistent and highly efficient manner so that educators and students can focus on learning,” states Dr. Lane Ledbetter, Superintendent of Schools, “Dr. Hemmle’s experience with students, parents, staff and the community will provide a diverse knowledge base necessary in our growing district.”
Dr. Hemmle has served as principal of Midlothian High School since 2007 and has impacted the lives of countless teachers and students. He shares, “I am proud of the things that we all have been able to accomplish over the past ten years, and I look forward to continuing the tradition of success for our kids and for our community in this new role.”
Interviews for Midlothian High School Principal will begin during the spring semester as this transition takes place.
