Advocating for MISD & Texas Public Schools

  • Our Midlothian ISD Board has started its work to strengthen relationships with our community, state and nationally elected offices to protect the future of MISD and Texas public schools. In January 2019, the state will hold its 86th Legislative Session. Because we know our public schools are the backbone to a strong democratic and thriving society, we are passionate about ensuring MISD and all public schools are recognized for its contributions to our local, state and national communities, as well as receive the needed resources to educate future generations.

Throughout the legislative sessions, this site will provide MISD legislative priorities and additional key initiatives. We encourage you to connect with your city, local and national elected officials and stay informed on issues that matter most to you, your students, families and community.
