• Accountability Ratings

On August 15, 2018 the Texas Education Agency (TEA) released results of the new A-F State Accountability Ratings for public schools and districts across the state.  In the new system, the state has determined it will give a district an A-F letter grade based on three domains.

    • Student Achievement
    • School Progress
    • Closing the Gaps

Student Achievement and School Progress domaines vie for 70 percent of the rating, while Closing the Gaps makes up 30 percent of the rating. For more information on the new rating system, visit TEA website: A-F Accountability Resources.

Midlothian ISD received an overall accountability score of 88 and letter grade of B.  At this time, only districts will be given a letter grade. All Midlothian ISD campuses received a ranking of “Met Standard” with a total of four distinctions.
