In order to be a school listed on the Coalition app, "the schools must help increase college access, affordability and success for all students. To join the Coalition, colleges and universities must demonstrate significant support to lower-income, under-resourced or first-generation generation students. They must also offer responsible student financial aid. To qualify, public schools must have affordable tuition and provide need-based financial assistance to all in-state residents. Private schools are required to fully meet the demonstrated need of all students or graduate their students with low to no debt and low loan default rates. All Coalition schools must graduate at least 70% of their students within six years; however, most have much higher graduation rates." (From Forbes.com)
