Counseling Resources

In MISD, we are family! We understand that the current state of our nation has created a heightened level of uncertainty for all of us. The COVID-19 pandemic has already had an impact on our students and families with the disruption of normal daily activities, such as school and extracurricular activities. While we prioritize continued academic learning, we also recognize that students will need emotional support in the coming days and weeks. This page is designed to provide social and emotional resources to our families as they navigate this unusual situation. You will find a variety of resources that will support your efforts when having conversations with your students. Feel free to reach out to school counselors if you need more in depth assistance with your student. Counselors are available through email and a conference call can be arranged if necessary. Know that we are here to meet all of our students’ needs during this time.
