On Tuesday, Jan. 19 during the Midlothian Independent School District’s Board of Trustees meeting, the Board selected two superintendent search firms to interview. These firms are Walsh Gallegos Treviño Russo & Kyle P.C. and the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). The Board will interview these two firms during a special Board meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 27 with one interview starting at 5:30 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. This meeting is open to the public. However, due to COVID-19, there is limited seating due to occupancy restrictions. This meeting will also be streamed live off the district’s website at www.misd.gs/live.
“The Board is excited to enter the next phase of our search process by interviewing two top firms in the state to help us lead the most important search for the district,” Matt Sanders, Board President, said. “We are looking for a firm with solid credentials, a solid outreach plan for input, as well as one that recognizes that Midlothian ISD is a premier district.”
To follow the process, MISD has a Superintendent Search website tracking decisions made by the Board of Trustees. For additional questions about the process, please email Karen Fitzgerald at email@example.com.
