Dyslexia
Midlothian ISD teachers have received extensive training in an alphabetic multi-sensory program and provide curriculum for the students. Dyslexia support services are provided on all district campuses K-12.
As defined in Texas Education Code Section: 38.003 (1) “Dyslexia” means a disorder of constitutional origin manifested by a difficulty in learning to read, write, or spell, despite conventional instruction, adequate intelligence, and sociocultural opportunity.
