Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)
MISD is a member of Cohort E to provide supplemental pay based on teacher performance and effectiveness with TIA funding by the State of Texas .

MISD provides all employees and their immediate family members with low cost medical clinic services.
Increased Stipends for Hard to Fill Positions
- High School Math & Science $5000,
- Bilingual Teacher $5000,
- Speech Therapists $3000,
- Special Education Self-Contained Teacher $1500.
