Substance Abuse and Drug Prevention

Substance abuse prevention and intervention measures lead to healthy growth and development of youth. Identifying protective factors and effective coping methods to handle stressors play a critical role in building resilience. MISD offers prevention programming through community partnerships with AIM for Success and REACH Council.  Both organizations assist with educational programming for youth on the risks of substance use and its effects on health and wellness. Additionally, listed below are many resources related to substance abuse prevention and intervention.
