Online enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year will open Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

This site houses information for all students who are NEW to Midlothian ISD and those who have previously attended Midlothian ISD.

Midlothian ISD serves students who live within the district's attendance zone. Your child must live within Midlothian ISD to attend MISD schools. Click HERE for a guide to see if your address falls within the MISD boundaries. This resource shows which school(s) your address is zoned for in the upcoming school year. MISD does not accept out-of-district transfers or fees to enroll out-of-district students except in very limited circumstances.

Regardless of your enrollment or registration status, MISD requires families to provide proof of residency each year in order to complete the enrollment and registration process. This is required because residency determines the school attendance zone.  

Acceptable proof of residency for returning students is a copy of a current (current or previous month) utility bill (electric, gas or water) which shows the current usage (to be uploaded during registration or printed and sent to campus).

Acceptable proof of residency for new to district students requires the following items:

  • A copy of a current (current or previous month) utility bill (electric, gas or water) which shows the current usage in parent/guardian name
    AND
  • A current lease showing parent/guardian name as lessee or tenant
  • Current closing documents on house in parent/guardian name (within same month) - OR - Current Mortgage Statement (within same month)
  • Ellis County Appraisal District proof of ownership in parent/guardian name

Please note the enrollment process will not be complete until this documentation is received by your child’s campus. Students may not receive a class list or course enrollment information until it has been provided. Students who are unable to produce documentation to verify residency in MISD attendance zones may not be able to attend a Midlothian ISD school and will be subject to withdrawal. If you have questions, or need to have a copy made for you, please call the school or come by our offices.

Presenting a false record or falsifying records is an offense under Section 37.10, Penal code, and enrollment of the child under false documents subjects the person to liability for tuition or other costs. TEC Sec. 25.002(3)(d).
